James Milner to reject Man City £165,000-a-week deal and accept Liverpool £110,000-a-week deal....Its not all about the £££

Liverpool have confirmed that they will sign Manchester City midfielder James Milner on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old held positive talks with the Merseyside club this week and rejected a new £165,000-a-week deal at the Etihad Stadium - as reported by Sportsmail on Wednesday.
The news is a major boost for Brendan Rodgers, who has come under fire after Liverpool dropped down to sixth place in the Premier League and missed out on the Champions League.
Milner is thought to have penned a deal worth a basic wage of around £110,000 a week at Anfield.
A Liverpool statement read:'The Reds have agreed personal terms with the England international, who will join the club on a free transfer on July 1 after his contract at the Etihad Stadium has expired.

Rafa Benitez has been confirmed as the new coach of Real Madrid on a three-year contract

The Spaniard takes over from Carlo Ancelotti, who departed the Bernabeu last week just 12 months after guiding the club to their 10th European Cup success.
Madrid-born Benitez has spent the past two seasons with Italian side Napoli, having previously enjoyed success at European level with a number of clubs.

Bad news for Man Utd fans...Real Madrid are now convinced that David de Gea will join them from Manchester United

The Spanish giants have held two meetings over summer transfer policy this week and sources close to the club have confirmed that president Florentino Perez is sure that De Gea will leave Old Trafford for a price-tag in excess of £25million.
United are still fighting to keep their goalkeeper and will not comment on the state of play. The Barclays Premier League club have offered De Gea £200,000-a-week - a British record deal for a goalkeeper - to try to tempt him to stay and have still not heard officially from Madrid ahead of a transfer window that opens at the end of the month.
However, Madrid believes De Gea will be their man once negotiations formally open and it is also understood that the 24-year-old has told friends at United that he may well be on his way to Spain.

Sepp Blatter announces he will be resigning as FIFA president after 17 years

Sepp Blatter is now at the centre of the FBI's corruption probe after the FIFA president sensationally announced he will be resigning after 17 years in world football's top job.
Federal agents, who last week charged 14 FIFA officials with corruption, have told the American media that they are hoping those men will help them build a case against their former boss.
The revelation comes just hours after Blatter used a hastily arranged news conference at FIFA HQ to say that he will step down after his successor is elected in December this year, or March 2016.
