Reason why Adebayor was left out of Villa Boas squad... Salute to the rejected stone that has now become the chief corner stone.

Adebayor was frozen out by former boss Andre Villas-Boas, partly over a dispute about the striker refusing to remove a beanie hat during a meeting.
There was also a disagreement after Adebayor was given compassionate leave to attend the funeral of his brother Peter, who died in the summer. On his return, he was left to train with the reserves.
The rift was eventually a factor in the Portuguese's dismissal when he would not budge on his decision to leave the player out of the side during a meeting with chairman Daniel Levy following a poor run of results.
The formidable Togolese has netted 11 goals in 15 appearances, and five in his last four games.
He has scored almost one out of every two attempts this season and his shot conversion rate of 42.1 per cent is the highest of any player in the Premier League.
