Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is one of the favourites to replace David Moyes at Manchester United, with the Scot set to leave the club after a disastrous first season in charge.
Klopp has endured a difficult season in Germany, with his side failing to challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title and falling at the quarter-final stage of the Champions League.
He has recently been linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona to replace Gerardo Martino, although the Argentine still has another year to run on his contract.
Bookmaker Coral have Klopp at 5-1 to take charge next season, making him joint favourite with Louis van Gaal in the betting stakes.
Van Gaal is available at the same price as Ferguson after confirming he will leave his job as manager of Holland following this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
The Dutchman has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks, although his experience in Europe and at international level is sure to interest United owners the Glazer family.
Sir Alex Ferguson is 6-1 to make a sensational return to the United hotseat just a year after he hand-picked Moyes to take over.
The 72-year-old retired from management last summer after over 26 years in charge at Old Trafford, but Coral give him the same odds at current player-coach Ryan Giggs, who is considering hanging up his boots at the end of the season.
