Fierce contest between Real Madrid and their noisy neighbors Atletico ended in both team sharing the spoils (2-2)

Real Madriid have now gone 15 years without having been beaten at the home of the city rivals. 

Madrid have won 12 and drawn two since Atletico’s last home win against them in 1999.

Carlo Ancelotti's side remain top of the standings but move on to 64 points, one ahead of Barcelona, who defeated Almeria 4-1 on Sunday.
